He received his BA in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in 2015.
He's received a few awards in college and thereafter, but doesn't keep count. This is because the number of awards is very few, anyway. And for what it's worth, it's not why he's in the industry.
What he does keep count of, however, are the amounts of miles he runs each week. When not behind the camera, you can find Dom out training for his next marathon or half marathon in the Arizona heat. "The sun makes you stronger," is a frequent mantra.
Dom does not speak in the third person; just the bio.
Some clients include: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, Public Radio International (The World), The Huffington Post, Arizona State University, The Arizona Republic, PHOENIX Magazine, and others. He was a staff photographer for the Daily Herald in Provo Utah before transitioning into full-time freelance.
